Lola Beverages Inc. headquarters are located in Toronto, Ontario. The Lola revival began with an initial investment of $30,000. Romanelli and Daniele brought back the frozen treat in a test launch in May 1996. Appearing at local Toronto events such as, the Molson Indy and Carabana, Lola was re-introduced to the generation that knew her once and to a generation that was meeting her for the first time. Success was instant. By May 1997, only one year later, Lola Iceberg had brought in $150,000 in sales. Based on 1998 AC Neilsen rankings, Lola Iceberg was the third highest grossing novelty frozen confection in Canada. This success prompted development of other Lola products. In 1999, junior size Lola Ice Wedges were introduced to the market. Available in the following flavours: watermelon, lemon-lime, orange and blueberry, Lola Ice Wedges are sold as individual units or in a variety pack of 12. Again the introduction of Lola Ice Wedges propelled the product to number 1 in it’s category for the last two consecutive years. With the continued growth of Lola, the new millenium
brings the debut of another member of the Lola family: Captain Cool
Freeze Pops. Captain Cool is your generic clear plastic pouch freeze pop
available in two sizes: 20ml and Jumbo 150 ml pops. Look for Captain
Cool at your local grocery or convenience store. WELCOME BACK LOLA!
